When I first scheduled the Scotch Club meeting, I didn't realize that the Canucks where playing. It turns out that the game was only on Pay-Per-View as well (booo). What could we do? We had to delay the scotch drinking until after the game. Thankfully Evan could get to the pub at 6:45 so we could all get seats! I picked Loch up from the ferry after having to dipsy doodle around Steveston due to traffice and raced home. We stepped in the pub door right at 7:30PM! Great timing!

I hadn't eaten at Nevermind in some time and I had never sat at the bar there. The food is now really, really good and the service (at least at the bar) is spectacular! Over the course of the evening we all got two free shooters and a pitcher of Keith's. The bartenders were very attentive and ended up with a whoppin' huge tip from it! I may have to make Nevermind my new local "haunt". We will see...

Needless to say, we had a great time with the booze and food and the winning hockey! Go Canucks!
