Some travel, naked boarding and parties! ⇒

Continued travelling last week, this time to Seattle for a night. Epic is doing a road show with AT&T Wireless, trying to get their sales people to find opportunities with us. We think it will be a great partnership. This road show is an evening networking session (i.e. drinking free food and beer) followed by a presentation in the morning. What a rough job I have! ;=)

Last week my snowboarding season began! I couldn't go the week before because I was in Sacramento, but this week I was determined to go up. Unfortunately, Christine wasn't firing on all cylinders that night...she forgot her ski pants! Thankfully Cypress is a full service mountain; we just rented some. I was a little concerned about my skills as I hadn't been up in almost two years, but my fears were misguided as I picked up just where I left off. I even managed to try my first ever snow boarding jump! I probably got about 4 inches of air!!! Crazy time! I am really looking forward becoming a much better snowboarder. In fact, I am going to take a lesson where they teach me how to ride the rails and do some tricks!

How can you tell it is December? All the parties!! Woo hoo! Friday was Epic's Christmas party. It was nice to have one as we didn't have one last year. Making this one even better was the MC...me. Being an MC is a good role for me...lots of talking, crackin' jokes. It was a good party too...when we left at 12:30AM, people were still dancing. Not too bad!

Saturday brought us to my long-time friend Greg Yorke's house. They just recently got domesticated...bought a house in the burbs and got pregnant. We hadn't had a chance to see the house or Brenda's belly yet and it was great to see them again. Man, Greg and I have known each other for 28 years! That's a looong time! Gotta love friends who stick around. What is up with people moving out to Coquitlam?!? We know 3 couples who have moved out there. It takes us almost an hour to get there. Sheesh.
