No News is Bad News ⇒

I was hoping to have some exciting job news today, but I just found out that they (Make Technologies) are looking for someone more senior for the Sales Engineer position they have posted! I was hoping that they wanted a more intermediate candidate as I would fill that role perfectly.

This company has everything I am looking for. A small, fast growing, profitable high-tech company in Yaletown that is run by people that know what they are doing. D'oh! They did mention, however, that they may be looking to fill the intermediate position over the next few months so I should keep in touch. I did like the way they handled this, they have been very honest with me and I really appreciate it. I will follow up with them in a couple of months to see how they are doing.

Time to through my job search into high gear now!!

Update! I just heard from them and they want me to do a presentation on Friday morning!!!! Not out of yet!! I have to count on my smooth delivery!!!! Yah me!!
