Labour Day Long Weekend ⇒

What shall we do. We are trying to save for our trip to Peru, but I wouldn't mind getting out of the city for the weekend. I am thinking about heading down to Seattle for Bumbershoot. It is a 4 days arts festival that occurs in the park surrounding the Space Needle. They have awesome music, a film festival, comedy, crafts and many other cultural events. We went several years ago and had a great time!!

This year the big act is R.E.M.. This is also a year celebrating R&B so there are tons of great blues music. Charlie Musslewhite will be there playing a mean harp!! Must. Go. See. The good news is that a 2 day pass is only $28 USD! For all that music. What a deal!
