Recent Outage ⇒

I am sure you were all mortified with my recent site outage!! I know I was. I would like to thank Greg Fox for pointing it out and [Evan][34] for helping me fix it.

I don't know the complete reason yet (need to do a little more research) but I do know that my firewall was denying all non-SSH connections. Why? I have two guesses. One, when I removed (not uninstall...remove!!) my firewall configuration tool sunShield, it left me in a bad state. Or two, when I disabled Apache 1.3, my port 80 firewall hole got disabled as well. This is the most likely candidate as I had to do that to upgrade to Apache2.
