Well, that was fun! ⇒

So there we were blissfully sleeping last night, when the loudest f*cking sound shocked us awake at 3:30AM!! It was our building fire alarm! We quickly throw on some clothes and get outside. There are no obvious signs of fire, thankfully.

When we gather with the other tenants in the front of the building a guy, in a white sweater, goes up to firemen and talks to them. Christine thinks she heard him say that someone pulled the fire alarm as a joke! About 10 minutes after most people are out, a couple of guys, seemingly drunk/stoned make there way out of the building and talk to the gang of youths already outside. Then the two stoners make there way to outside of our gathering. White-sweater-boy then calls the two stoners tells them to just walk away!!

Later our building manager comes out and looks furious and she is talking on her cell phone to the police (I think). The fireman make sure the two stoners don't leave, tell us someone played a "joke" on us and that it is safe to back inside. Whew.

Needless to say, we are both a little groggy today. Took a little bit to fall back a sleep as the adrenalin slowly left. A little too much excitement for me that early in the morning!
