I don't like to wish the time away with my girls but when it comes to Daniella, I must confess I've been wanting her to talk for quite some time. Like all toddlers, she gets frustrated she is quite vocal about it! It would sure be great if we could know what's going on in her mind.

Well, now Daniella is 18 months old...well...by the time I'm writing this post she's nearly 19 months but I'm pleading "super busy with moving" as my excuse this time.

I had a melancholy moment waking up the other day and realizing that very soon Daniella would not be crawling anymore. She's been learning to walk now for almost a month and as of yesterday she prefers walking to crawling. She's getting pretty speedy too. The change in her the last week has been amazing to watch. If you have children who aren't walking yet, be sure to pay attention to their face when they do start walking. I'm not talking about the inevitable proud smile that says...

Daniella took her first tentative steps today without holding on to anything. She's been cruising the furniture, and climbing for a while and even took a few steps holding onto a wagon a few weeks ago but today she was all "look mama no hands!" and took a couple of steps to Grandma and then about 5 steps to me later in the day. I remember being so excited when Elise did it and thought it wouldn't hold the same excitement the second time around but it does...oh it does! Way to...
