They do want me, they are just going through a little re-org right now and don't have the bandwidth to hire anyone. Although I have to admit it sounds a little odd, "We like you, we know you can help, but we can't hire you right now." To me that sounds a little like, "Sorry, don't bother throwing that rope, I'm too busy treading water to grab onto...
I know you are all wondering what is up with our UK plans. So, here is the long awaited UK update. Many of you know that Christine has been in the UK for the last two months looking for work. She has had several job interviews and she has several more good prospects, but as of yet she has not landed a job. I have been trying to hook up with Cayenta. I hope to hear from them this week (fingers crossed!).
But, if neither Christine nor I manage to secure a job this week, what shall we do?...
Sorry for the lack of updates, but I am on this insane project at work. We are designing this super cool Time Management system for a small firm. The deadline is quite impossible, but we have been trying to make it nonetheless. So I worked late Wednesday and Friday, all day Saturday and all afternoon today! Waaaaaay too much work.
The relationships of my friends has reared its ugly head recently. Two (!!) couples that have been married 14 and 2 years respectively, just split up!! Wow....
