Some new ideas for toys ⇒

December 29th, 2004 by

OK, I found a new toy that I want!! It is called the EyeHome. It basically lets you view images, movies and play music that is on your Mac. I already have all of our music on our Mac, and we will get all of our pictures on when we get our digital camera. That just leaves our DVDs. We need a few things for this to work: more hard drive space and and either a new Mac (my choice) or an external firewire DVD reader (the easiest/cheapest choice).

Then we just rip them all to the external HD...

As of this morning I am a week late and the home pregnancy test I did this morning had two lines of equal opacity. I called to make a doctor's appointment but, as it is Christmas time, the office is only open for "emergencies" so I have to wait until January 4th to have a doctor confirm that I am indeed pregnant.

Stats: Bust: 34 inches, Waist: 26.5 inches, Hips: 38 inches, Weight: 130 lbs How'm I feeling? Dawg tired. Bloated.

It's going to be extremely difficult not to tell...

Big Three Oh! ⇒

December 19th, 2004 by

Today I turn 30. If the next 30 years are anything the previous 30, I am in for a wild ride!!

My 20s were great.

The year I turned 20 I was in half way through my 3rd year of university, living with two guys in a cool place just off campus. That was one of the best years of my life.

The year I turned 21, I met Christine and began a wonderful relationship.

The year I turned 22 I finished my university schooling with a B+ average, thank you very much, and I had one more co-op term to go....

Snowbird Tragedy ⇒

December 10th, 2004 by

Watching the news tonight and we saw the story on the death of the Snowbird pilot. Unfortunately, the father of the pilot is someone we know. Roland Selby plays tenor saxophone in the jazz band we used to play in. He was very proud of his son, who followed in his footsteps and became a pilot in the airforce. He always talked about the time his son took him up in an F-18 and let him pilot it!

Roland and Kristen, I am very sorry for your loss. Your son was highly respected and entertained...
