This morning the girls offered to be my servants for the day, so I didn’t have to “do anything”. First up was breakfast. Nella took the order and Elise was the chef. I had toast and jam, then a bowl of cereal then an apple. Next up was planning the meal for the day and [...]
Sonnet I To a Preschool Teacher Let us not to the preschool day Admit a bound’ry. Art is not Art which declares that a cat cannot be pink, Nor that flowers do not grow on clouds. O no! It is the place where little hands Are free to squish, to splash, to make great messes. [...]

Since we have decided to home school our children, I have become very interested in how people learn and how I can help my kids learn. Being a techno-geek, I of course, am looking into how technology can be used effectively. Our kids love the iPad (and iPhone) and when they are using it, it [...]
Re: the topic here: http://db.tidbits.com/article/11633 I think it’s pretty simple actually. Supervise them until you feel they can handle what they encounter. Trying to get Daniella to try toilet training and she is just not interested. So, I am not going to push it but she wants a Plum Pudding figurine so she has been willing to at least sit on the potty in exchange for a sticker. She needs 10 stickers. Elise wanted to get in [...]
