This morning the girls offered to be my servants for the day, so I didn’t have to “do anything”. First up was breakfast. Nella took the order and Elise was the chef. I had toast and jam, then a bowl of cereal then an apple. Next up was planning the meal for the day and [...]
Oh it has been a wonderful week. As you all know, Elise has her “little” anxieties. One of these has historically been a wariness of the water. This time last year, I took her to Sunnyside Pool and it took 45 minutes to get her in the water. When I finally did, she clung to [...]
Forgive me readers for I have sinned. It has been 6 months since my last post. Whew! I feel better already! Sit back and relax for the first of three posts in my new series, Travelling at the Speed of Life. This post will bring you up to date on the last six months of [...]
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted about a first for my girls but one happened recently that is note worthy. Elise read her first book last night. The night before that, she had read all the large print words in Dr. Seuss’ Hop on Pop which was wonderful anyway but I got an [...]

Today Elise is a fairy with a pet unicorn on a leash and I am afraid of it but don’t worry, I can pet it because she holds it tightly so she won’t jump up. Yesterday she was a puppy called Scamp and Daniella was a puppy called Angel. Yesterday Daniella was a broomstick and [...]
Long time no blog. Terrible for someone who’s supposed to be a writer! I was going to post a FB status update but decided to do this instead. The girls and I have a new tradition. When Erin is out for the evening we have a girls night. We watch a movie while we are [...]
